Vicki is ATT qualified and has over 25 years’ experience in taxation. Vicki commenced her career taking a training contract with a top 6 accountancy firm in London where she specialised in personal, expatriate and US taxation.
In 1989 Vicki relocated to Nottingham to take up a supervisor’s role with another top 6 firm with a mixed portfolio of corporate and personal tax clients. In 1997 she moved back to her home county of Shropshire to work for a top 15 accountancy firm in a senior managerial role covering all aspects of tax planning & compliance. She left in 2003 to set up Hughes & Co together with her husband David where she is responsible for corporate and personal taxation, including payroll & VAT compliance.
Her interests outside work are spending time with her family, travelling, skiing and golf.
Vicki is also a governor and chairman of the finance committee at the local primary school.
